Cambodia Bay has been recognized and officially inducted to be a fully fledged member of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World Club. On 22 January 2011, the Executive Board of ‘The Most Beautiful Bays in the World’ gathered to Cargèse (Corsica) in France and unanimously voted for the admission of the Bay of Cambodia to this prestigious fraternity and during its 7th General Assembly held later in the Republic of Senegal on 26 May 2011, the Bay of Cambodia was officially inducted.

The Kingdom of Cambodia celebrated its induction recently on 11 July 2011 at the Independence Hotel in Preah Sihanouk Province under the highest presidency of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Lok Chumteav. DR. BUN RANY HUN SEN.
Also present at the celebration were Deputy Prime Ministers, Senior Ministers, Ministers, Secretaries of State, Under Secretaries of State of the kingdom of Cambodia. Representatives of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World Club including the vice-president himself and many stakeholders of the tourism industry were also amongst the more than 600 guests who joined in the celebration.
